If you are receiving any error codes with a 7xx naming convention (730, 732, etc), this typically means that the program version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is not current, and is too old to contact our update servers. The resolution for this is to install a current program version. You can install this over the top of the existing program. Installing over the top will maintain your settings.
1) Click our link http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php to start. You will then be redirected to one of several download sites.
Alternatively, to download from FileHippo.com (http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/), Bleeping Computer (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/malwarebytes-anti-malware?1) or FileForum/Betanews (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Malwarebytes-AntiMalware/1186760019/)
2) If you receive a prompt asking you to "Run" or "Save" the file, click Save and save this file to your desktop.
3) Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
4) At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to the following:
- Update Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
- Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
5) Then click Finish. If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
